Dr. Gregory Borgmeyer

Gregory Borgmeyer, AuD, CCC-A, CPS/A

Lead Audiologist

Lead audiologist Gregory Borgmeyer is passionate about helping people understand how to preserve their hearing, so that they can enjoy all their favorite sounds for their whole lives. For those patients struggling with hearing loss, Borgmeyer believes compassionate care includes listening to patients, answering all their questions, explaining complicated procedures and understanding the difficulties they encounter with their hearing disability.

Dr. Borgmeyer earned his doctorate degree in audiology at A.T. Still University Arizona School of Health Sciences. His areas of special focus include industrial audiology, diagnostic testing, infant hearing screenings and vestibular assessments.

When he’s not at work, Dr. Borgmeyer enjoys tending his yard and rose garden and spending time with his wife and teenage boys. He also enjoys singing, participating in his church’s music choirs and formerly in a men’s quartet.


Nancy Bowen-Hicks, AuD, CCC-ANancy Bowen-Hicks, AuD

Doctor of Audiology

Audiologist Dr. Nancy Bowen-Hicks is passionate about assisting people with bothersome ringing, buzzing or other noises in the ears (called tinnitus) to cope with this condition. She has created a Tinnitus Management Program at Adventist Health Portland using sound therapy and behavioral strategies, rather than device-driven methods. This unique program is the only one of its kind available outside of Veterans Affairs Health Care in the local area.

Bowen-Hicks earned her doctorate degree in audiology at the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida. She also holds a Certificate in Tinnitus Management from the American Academy of Audiology. She is active in professional societies, including the American Academy of Audiology and the Washington State Academy of Audiology, where she is a past president of the association. Bowen-Hicks co-founded Audiology Clinic Inc. in Vancouver, Washington in 1982, one of the first private audiology practices in the state. She served as both a clinician and clinic administrator there until 2012.

From a small town in Michigan, Dr. Bowen-Hicks grew up as part of a large family. She enjoys singing and has been a member of the Bravo! Concert Chorale and a church choir for over 20 years. She has toured with these groups to Italy, Croatia, Washington, D.C. and around the Pacific Northwest. She has also been a manager with the Vancouver Wine & Jazz Festival for more than 20 years.


Dr. Erika Jones

Erika Devlin, AuD, CCC-A

Erika Devlin’s goal is for each patient and family she works to feel comfortable in the clinic by reducing fears and listening to concerns. She prioritizes respect, compassion and empathy in working with patients to provide meaningful hearing health care.

Dr. Devlin earned a doctoral degree in Audiology from A.T. Still University of Health Sciences in Mesa, Arizona. She is a member of the American Speech Language and Hearing Association and the Oregon Academy of Audiology. She is experienced in industrial audiology, hearing conservation, diagnostic audiology, infant hearing screenings and vestibular assessments.

When she is not at work, Dr. Devlin enjoys boating, tropical vacations, working out and spending time with her husband, daughters, extended family and friends.


Ilsa Feierabend, AuD

Audiologist Ilsa Feierabend understands that it is as important to be heard as it is to hear. That’s why she takes the time to get to know each patient as a unique individual.

Feierabend earned her doctoral degree in audiology at University of Wisconsin- Madison. In her practice, she prioritizes providing clear information about care options and education on healthy hearing practices.

An avid swimmer, Feierabend enjoys both open water swims and laps in the pool. She also likes hiking and snowboarding. Though she enjoys traveling, she also is happy to hangout at home with her husband, two dogs and a good book.


Nancy Bowen-Hicks, AuD, CCC-AMichelle Ziegler, AuD, CCC-A

Dr. Ziegler began her Audiology career here at Adventist Medical Center in 1991 and started the Industrial Hearing Screening service with the first mobile on-site hearing screening services available in 1998. She obtained her Doctorate in Audiology in 2006. She is licensed as an Audiologist in Oregon and is a member of the American Academy of Audiology and the Oregon Academy of Audiology. She brings a wealth of expertise from her many years of providing Hearing Conservation services.
