You can access your OHSU Health MyChart several ways:

  • Web browser: From any web browser, just go to the OHSU Health MyChart login screen.
  • MyChart app: The MyChart app is available in the Apple App Store and on Google Play for Android devices so you can enjoy portable portal access from virtually anywhere.

Will I need to create a new account or will my old login information work for the new portal?

Most people can access their new OHSU Health MyChart using their existing login information. In rare cases, you may be contacted by our MyChart team if we find your login information isn’t transferring smoothly. If you have trouble logging in, contact the help desk 503-494-5252, Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Will my existing medical records be transferred over to my new portal?

Most Adventist Health Medical Group clinic records from the last few years should appear in your new OHSU Health MyChart. You can also access your records in your previous Adventist Health MyChart for several months.

You can order copies of your medical records anytime through our records office.

Your hospital records from before March 12, 2023, which are currently on the MyAdventistHealth portal, will remain accessible on MyAdventistHealth and will not appear in your new MyChart.

Will old messages with my provider(s) be retained? What if we’re in the middle of a conversation?

Your old conversations with your care team are now read-only.

Can I schedule appointments through the new MyChart?

After your first in-person visit using the new MyChart system, you’ll be able to schedule appointments online for any providers who accept online scheduling.

How will virtual visits work?

Virtual visits require MyChart and Zoom. If you schedule a virtual visit, you'll get instructions emailed to you about how to prepare and connect. Learn more on our MyChart virtual visits information page.

Will outstanding bills transfer to the new MyChart?

Your existing bills will not show in your new OHSU Health MyChart, but you’ll receive paper bills for those balances and be able to pay them by phone or mail as described on the bills.

For services from March 12 going forward, your hospital and clinic charges will show in your new MyChart as well as in your paper bills. You may receive separate paper bills from other affiliated providers, like for anesthesia and radiology.

Will I still be able to access MyChart for other people I currently have access to — like my kids and aging parents?

You will need to reestablish your proxy access.

For patients who are ages 15 years and older, they will also need to sign an Adventist Health Portland MyChart Release of Information (ROI) form before access will be granted. More information and the form are available online.
