We don’t mean to brag….
Well, yes, we do, actually. But with good reason—Healthgrades has put Adventist Medical Center in Portland, Oregon, in the top 5 percent of hospitals nationwide because we offer safe and effective health care not just sometimes or in some areas, but consistently.
We’re pretty excited by this confirmation—for the third year in a row—that you are getting some of the best health care in the nation.
To earn the Distinguished Hospital Award, hospitals must show they give high-quality care for many common conditions and procedures—not just certain specialties.
That means better care for our patients—including you. For example, a patient is 32 percent less likely to die from heart failure if treated at a hospital that’s earned the Distinguished Hospital Award than at a hospital that hasn’t.
“Our mission calls us to provide our community and our patients with the best possible care and experience every time they come to Adventist Health,” says Joyce Newmyer, president and CEO of Adventist Medical Center. “This award shows our ongoing commitment to that quality.”
The Heathgrades Distinguished Hospital Award is just another sign how much we at Adventist Medical Center care about giving your whole self—body, mind and spirit—the best possible treatment each time you visit us.
